SwedCham 20 years - The Great Gatsby Anniversary Gala

A lot has changed since 1998. The Chinese economy has grown remarkably and so has the Swedish business presence. Over the last 20 years, the Swedish Chamber's members have built a strong network, rich of the common expertise of close to 300 companies.

As a valuable part of the network, we would like you to join us in celebrating this special occasion. Crowning this year of celebrations will be a very special Gala Dinner on October 20, 2018 at the Wanda Vista Hotel in Beijing. For 200 guests, a grand evening awaits filled with the 1920's glamour of the Great Gatsby, prestigious entertainment, an exquisite Swedish menu, and the stars that have followed the Chamber though the years.

We have a magical night lined up, with a performance from amongst others the world's greatest Swedish Hip-Hop Swing Jazz Band Movits! (哞位子). Their debut album Äppelknyckarjazz was released in 2008, and today their name is highly recognizable on both Swedish and American music arenas. This will be Movits! third tour in China. We have also invited the wonderful Ebba Kleberg von Sydow to guide us through the evening. Ebba is a journalist, author, columnist, TV personality that also run one of the most influential fashion and lifestyle blogs in Sweden. Summer of 2010, she hosted the broadcasts Wedding of Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, and Daniel Westling, for national television in Sweden.
