International Women's Day is celebrated on the 8th of March every year. During the special time of this year, SwedCham China together with Swedish Chamber Of Commerce in Hong Kong is happy to celebrate it by organising a Webinar on She-conomy: Women Who Lead.

The purpose of this event is to share and inspire more women to become leaders and to believe in their leadership skills.

The Webinar will be started with the presentation by Rachel Tong, Secretary General at Lean In China about key insights from their latest report of "Women, Work and Happiness "<<女性,职业与幸福感报告>>. It is the third year of the report and the first time to show, through corporate "best practices", how the world's leading companies are accelerating women's career development to promote gender equality in the workplace.

During the Webinar panel session, the guest speakers Elisabeth Lindström Dupuy, GM Sales Area North Asia at Sandvik Coromant, Ally Liu, Maryland Smith EMBA Alumna (2019'), R&D Manager, BR&T-China at The Boeing Company and Anders Wollter, Head of CSR Centre at Embassy of Sweden in Beijing will discuss success factors and barriers for female leaders and share stories from of their own experiences:

  • Lessons learnt - What have we learned from our own professional careers?
  • Why is it important for both men and women to support other women in their professions?
  • What are the unique challenges women face in workplace in China?

Once registered, an email will be sent with instructions how to login to the webinar.
