In any accident or emergency, making the right choices at the right time can be the difference between life and death. At SwedCham we believe that everyone should have basic awareness of emergency and first aid care, so we are very happy to collaborate with Shanghai United Family Hospital to create this opportunity.

At the training, Shanghai United Family Hospital will give an introduction to basic life saving techniques. This course teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies, and prepares them to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The course includes a combination of knowledge development, skills development and realistic scenario practice.

Skills taught in this course include:

• Scene Assessment
• Barrier Use
• Primary Assessment
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• Use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
• Serious Bleeding Management
• Shock Management
• Spinal Injury Management
• Conscious and Unconscious Choking Management

Maximum number of attendees are 12, and the course will be taught during 4 hours worth a value of 4,500 RMB.
