On the 24th of September, SwedCham and Volvo Group, a world leading manufacturer of trucks, buses, construction equipment, and marine and industry engines, as well as financial services, welcome you to a half day of presentation and tour of Volvo Group's factory in Shanghai, followed by a nice lunch together. Ma Jun is the President of Volvo (China) Investment Co., Ltd., the Volvo Group's market company in China, where she leads a team to create a country platform to support Volvo Group's business operations in China, focusing on government affairs, communications, CSR and strategic projects.
Ma Jun has held different senior positions within Volvo Group. She was the General Counsel for Volvo Group's APAC truck operations before she took the current role in May last year. Before she joined Volvo Group in 2006, she worked at a Chinese and a US Law Firm in Beijing for a number of years.
Tomas Kuta

Signifying the strategic importance of the growing Asia market, Tomas Kuta was appointed Senior Vice President of Region Asia at Volvo CE from January 2020. The former Senior Vice President of Sales, a global role he has thrived in since 2016, is now based in Shanghai, China, and will oversee all sales functions across Asia.
As Senior Vice President of Sales from 2016 to 2019, Tomas oversaw the company's global sales strategy, all sales regions, key customer accounts and retail development. Tomas has played a vital role in growing the company's business and distributions across global markets in various management positions as President of Volvo CE's Sales Region EMEA (Europe-Middle East-Africa), head of Volvo CE's global Customer Solutions organization, President of Volvo CE's Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian sales organization.
Prior to Volvo, he was Manager Director of Apple Computer Incorporated in Czech and Slovak Republics, based in Prague. In this role, he was responsible for a complete importer operation.
