SwedCham China is thrilled to invite our members to a highly anticipated Breakfast Meeting on 12 October, 2023 in Beijing, featuring an esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Jacob Wallenberg who is the Chairman of the Board of Investor AB and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise. Investor AB holds significant shareholdings in a number of large listed and un-listed Nordic Companies in addition to the share holdings of the Wallenberg Foundations.
Mr. Wallenberg will give his speech on the topic of "Opportunities and challenges in a testing geopolitical environment". This exclusive gathering will provide valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that businesses face in China's dynamic market.
As a prominent figure in the business world, Mr. Jacob Wallenberg brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. He will share his perspectives on navigating the complexities of the Chinese market and seizing the opportunities it presents. This Breakfast Meeting is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights and exchange ideas with like-minded professionals from various Nordic Chambers of Commerce. There will be time for Q& A at the end of the presentation.

Jacob Wallenberg is Chair of the Board of Investor AB, a lead shareholder of Nordic-based global companies. He is Chair of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise and Vice Chair of ABB Ltd, Ericsson AB, FAM AB and Patricia Industries.
Mr. Wallenberg also serves on the Board of the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
He is a member of steering committee of the European Round Table for Industry, the Advisory Board of Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management.
Mr. Wallenberg is a member of and Honorary Chair of IBLAC, the Mayor of Shanghai’s International Business Leaders Advisory Council. He is also member of the Trilateral Commission.

Ling-Vannerus
Chief Representative at SEB Beijing Representative Office
Peter Ling-Vannerus is Chief Representative at SEB, Beijing.
He is also a member of the Board of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China and of the Executive Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce in China.
Previously, he was the Global Head of Subsidiary Financing at SEB Head Office, responsible for the development and execution of cost and risk efficient financing solutions for subsidiaries in international markets. He has also been Head of SEB Paris Branch: Managing SEB’s activities in France, including Commercial Banking, Equity Analysis and Trading. Mr. Peter Ling-Vannerus used to be Chief Representative in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Managing and developing SEB’s business with Corporate Customers and Correspondent Banks in the Southern Cone markets.
He holds a degree from Georgetown University, Washington DC in International Relations and Finance and from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
