Sandvik Coromant is born out of the Sandvik Group, and their heritage is steel. Sandvik Coromant is founded in 1942. The name is a merger of the word corona - the sun's brightly shining atmosphere - and "diamanté's" the Swedish word for diamond - the hardest material known to man.
On the 20th of May, the SwedCham welcomes you to join a Half Day Factory tour to Sandvik Coromant PU Langfang (山特维克可乐满廊坊). During the morning session, all participants will be given a short presentation of Sandvik Coromant's story of being the very first foreign factory establishment in Langfang Economic Technical Development Zone, Hebei province since 1993. The SwedCham group will also hear best practices in their daily manufacturing factory operation powered by machining knowledge and continuous innovation.
