Two of the most important factors to consider when doing business in China include compliance of the Corporate Social Credit System as well as cybersecurity law. SwedCham has the privilege of welcoming Lars-Åke Severin, founder and CEO of PSU Consulting as well as Maxime O., CEO at TEKID Limited, to provide a much needed presentation on these topics.

By now, most companies are well aware of the Corporate Social Credit System which is due to be fully implemented by the end of 2020. At the same time, the issue of cybersecurity remains a challenge for many companies. In a digitized world where businesses are shifting towards having a larger presence online and becoming more reliant on software, dealing with the threat of digital attacks is a security measure that needs to be prioritzed. It is crucial for companies in China to be well aware of these challenges and be able to manage them, in order to not be blacklisted and face restrictive consequences.

Your takeaway from this Sharp Talk will be crucial answers to bring back and share with your organization. Some of the questions that will be touched upon include:

  • What are the cybersecurity risks when doing business in China?
  • What measures should be taken to mitigate the threat of cybersecurity?
  • What are the most important things to consider in order to be compliant with Corporate Social Credit System?
