SwedCham China has the pleasure of inviting you to a roundtable discussion on the occasion of the visit of Mr. Baskut Tuncak, senior researcher at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI).

Mr. Tuncak specialises in toxic chemicals and pollution-related matters. He is a chemist and legal expert in national, regional and global legislation and policies relevant to environmental pollution, contamination and the use of toxic chemicals in manufacturing.
Pollution due to the use of hazardous substances is a tremendous global challenge. At the same time, the increased attention to environmental degradation, in China and elsewhere, is creating new opportunities to handle and prevent environmental violations. This roundtable is an opportunity to discuss and share perspectives on the situation of pollution and use of toxic chemicals globally and in China, as well as the role of different stakeholders in addressing the matter.
