SH YP: Brännboll and Kubb Hangout

SwedCham Young Professionals Shanghai invites you to hang out with us and play the traditionally Swedish games of brännboll and kubb!

What better way to spend your Sunday afternoon than with a fun activity and get to know some new friends? ⚾️

For those who are not familiar with Brännboll and Kubb they are perfect park games that all Swedes play during the summertime and if you want to impress a Swede mastering these two games will get you a long way. Both games are easy to learn and fun to play. Brännboll is similar to baseball but a bit easier to play and kubb is an old Viking game, which you can read more about here​. There will be a light lunch, snacks and beers included in the ticket price, but feel free to bring any other refreshments you might want to have! 🍻

When? Sunday 5th of September at 15:00

Where? 🍀 Backyard Lawn, Zhongshan Park (Metro station Zhongshan Gong Yuan, Line 2/3/4), Shanghai

Price: 30 RMB for SwedCham YP members, 60 RMB for non-members

Notice: The event will be cancelled and postponed if it rains. A message will be sent out before the event giving you notice.

Both brännboll and kubb are not too exhausting but you might break a sweat occasionally so make sure to bring clothes fit for playing brännboll or kubb, in other words, some clothes to you can be active in.
