Birds are singing, trees are green, the sun is shining - and we can finally begin to look forward to a traditional Swedish Midsummer 2021!

Midsummer has been celebrated for hundreds of years in Sweden and we at SwedCham are very excited to invite you to our traditional celebration on Midsummer's Eve, June 25th in the lush garden at Radisson Blu Xingguo Hotel.

The maypole, midsummer buffet (incl. vegetarian options) and snaps is waiting, so make sure to warm up your vocal cards and tune in for a night you will never forget... The celebration will take place in Shanghai's perhaps greenest garden, tucked away right behind the bustling city life and charming villas of the French Concession. Blue sky and sunshine has of course been ordered but can not be guaranteed during Shanghai's ever so charming plum rain season. For the fun-filled TreKamp Session (3 Games), we have exclusive prizes sponsored by CabinAir, Fillidutt and Scandic Foods Asia.

Time:

• 5:00 - 5:30pm: Registration and welcoming.
• 5:30 - 6:00 Dance around the Maypole
• 6:00 - 6:30pm: Trekamp (3 station games), DJ starts
• 6:30 - 6:35pm Welcome speech from SwedCham
• 6:35 - 8:35pm: Swedish Midsummer buffet and 2 hours free flow of wine, beers, snaps and soft drinks (and a lot of singing!)
• 8:30 - 10:00pm: Dance party with DJ TK and drummer Kercio from Bar Rouge!
• 10:00 Transportation to after party venue LatinLand (more info below)

Price:

• SwedCham Members, YP and family of members: 660 RMB
• Non-members: 795 RMB
• Children up to the age of 8: 250 RMB
• Company table ticket: 2000 RMB

A company ticket is perfect if you want to ensure that you are seated with your company, and get an opportunity to display your company to all participants! A company ticket will reserve a table for 12, and the 12th ticket is complimentary and free of charge. Remaining 11 tickets needs to be purchased as usual.
