Inter IKEA warmly welcomes you to join us at their office, located in Shanghai, for a half day of presentations, discussions as well as a short office tour and lunch at the office. We are happy to have Business Sweden join to provide a larger perspective with insight across different industries. This event will be tailored around the topic of sustainability, and is directed towards companies that have sustainability as a core focus.

About the speakers


Linda Xu Director of Communication, Purchasing and Logistic Area, East Asia.

Joined IKEA in 1998. Most of her IKEA career was in IKEA Retail China as the spokesperson of IKEA in China until 2018. Starting as the Public Relations manager of IKEA with journalist background, in 22 years, she was acting in different positions but always in communication, public relations and public affairs. From 2018, she joined Purchasing and Logistic Area East Asia as director of communication. She is very experienced on communication and a real "expert" on IKEA culture and values.

Miranda Zhang – Product Design Engineer, Product Development Centre Shanghai

Currently working as Senior Product Design Engineer in IKEA Product Development Centre, Shanghai. Miranda's IKEA journey started in 2005, 7 years in purchasing and 8 years in PDC. Being the longest co-worker in PDC, she started with Textile, and later worked with cross HFBs and different Categories, both with furniture, HFA and electronics. Additionally, she is also the super user in PDC for Circular Product Design.


Willy Chong – Designer, Product Development Centre Shanghai


Marcus Olsson – Business Development Manager for Packaging and Handling Materials, Purchasing and Logistic Area, East Asia

Worked in production development since 2000 in IKEA. From 2012, he started to work as quality and sustainability manager, followed by as the category sourcing specialist. Starting from 2017, Marcus worked as business development manager for packaging and handling materials in IKEA Components.


Ricky Jin – Deputy Category Manager, Category Land Asia Pacific, Supply Chain Operations

17 years experiences in logistic industry, covering road transportation, international freight forwarding, shipping agency, logistics services in various companies including Shanghai Port Group, IKEA; Currently he is the 'invited experts' of road transportation branch of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP); Rich experiences in both commercial and operations, taking the leading role in China on sustainability development in IKEA.


Thomas Larsen – Project Manager at Business Sweden

Thomas Larsen is a project manager with Business Sweden based in Shanghai, he has worked as professional consultant for more than 10 years in Asia helping European companies succeed and grow. He has worked with many Swedish companies on their sustainability strategy in China.
