Join us for a breakfast forum focusing on Empowering Female Executives with Countess Alexandra and Dr. Claudia Suessmuth Dyckerhoff. Two distinguished female leaders and members of board of directors in global pharmaceutical companies. The speakers will share their perspectives on gender equality in the workplace.


Countess Alexandra is a former Princess of Denmark, and has held numerous positions in relation to corporate -and philanthropic pursuits. In 2017-2018 the Countess was named Poling Chair of Business and Government at Kelley Business School, University of Indiana. She's a co-author of the books "The Sincerity Edge" (2017) and "My Happy Country" (2018).


Countess Alexandra is also a former patron of UNICEF Denmark, which during the time she travelled to Thailand where she among others visited HIV/AIDS patients. The Countess is currently a patron for the Danish Association for the Blind and for the Danish Parkinson Association. Since 2007 the Countess has been a non-executive member of the Ferring Pharmaceutical board where she holds the position of Chairperson of the Ethics and Compliance Board Committee.

Dr. Claudia Süssmuth Dyckerhoff has been with McKinsey for 21 years, became a Board member of Hoffmann-La Roche in May 2016, a Board member of Clariant in April 2016 and a Board Member of Ramsay Health Care (international hospital operator) in November 2018. At Hoffmann-La Roche she is a member of the Audit and Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee, at Clariant she is a member of the Compensation Committee and at Ramsay Health Care she is a member of the Risk Committee. For McKinsey, she remains in the role of a Senior Advisor. She also supports 3 start-ups, and in September 2017 joined the board of Cyrcadia, a med tech start-up.


Most of her recent work focuses on market entry or market growth strategies, business development, assessment of potential privatization assets in the health services arena, commercial excellence, organizational redesign and capability building, and operational performance improvement in hospitals.
