The facility brings together the physical and digital worlds, creating a digital manufacturing ecosystem that harnesses virtual planning and production management systems to improve performance and maximize productivity through the collection and analysis of data. There are no traditional, fixed assembly lines – instead flexible, modular production cells are digitally connected and networked, and served by intelligent autonomous mobile robots. ABB Robotics opened an AI-powered, automated paint shop at the mega factory in Shanghai in 2025 which enabled fully-automated painting line more sustainable, 20% faster and doubling total output capacity, advancing ABB Robotics' vision for smart, flexible production.

If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than seven business day prior to the event. If you fail to notify us of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will be charged for the event costs.
