As we approach the adoption of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), it is critical for European and Swedish businesses to look beyond the headlines and understand the underlying policy trajectories that will define market realities for the rest of the decade.

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, in partnership with China Macro Group (CMG) , cordially invites you to a focused Breakfast Seminar event designed to help you navigate the evolving landscape of the Chinese economy on 9th April 2026 in Shanghai.

This session will go beyond a simple overview. We will analyze the substance of the new plan as part of a continuous policy journey since 2020/2021, including the short-term economic measures shaping the market this year. Our goal is to connect the dots between macro policy and your micro operations.

Why attend?

  • Understand the Context: Gain clarity on the key political and economic factors affecting foreign businesses in China.
  • Decode the Plan: Get an expert breakdown of the 15th Five-Year Plan and what it signals for your industry.
  • Strategize Together: Benefit from practitioner inputs and engage in a collaborative dialogue with peers to discuss how to position your business for these new realities.

This is an interactive event. We encourage you to bring your questions, share your observations, and engage actively to ensure you leave with concrete takeaways to support your strategic decision-making. We look forward to welcoming you for a morning of insights and networking.
