Ms. Gao Huan is a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal in Beijing. Ms. Gao has focused her practice on retail consumer and
healthcare and has led many transformation projects for medium and large companies to achieve turnaround and performance
improvement in China. Her recent achievement include,
• Formed strategic partnership with a leading medical device company. Led expansion strategy and operating model change
for its next 5 years growth ambition
• Helped a top healthcare CDMO company to drive operational improvement and pricing strategy leading to > 10% increase on
profit within 12 months
• Transformed a PE owned medical device company to re-shape its strategic focus, product portfolio, and organization setup
• Developed operating model to drive digitalization strategy of leading surgical robotic business in China
• Ms. Gao led a multi-phased performance improvement program for a leading nutrition business headquartered in China. Most
effective levers include, optimization of supply chain, cashflow management and cost reduction. Each assignment made very
visible improvement to the business’s bottom line and cashflow
• As interim CFO of a leading European fashion brand in China, Ms. Gao successfully led turnaround of the business and
support the sales of China business to a local private equity firm
• Ms. Gao led turnaround planning and supported execution of a leading coffee shop chain in China. The business became
profitable in 1.5 years after a major crisis
• Ms. Gao led performance improvement and cashflow management of a premium cinema chain in distressed situation. With
help from A&M team, the business survived during COVID and ultimately became profitable
• Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Gao held executive position at local conglomerate and was part of the leadership team for several key
acquisition deals in both China and overseas. She was board member of a U.S. retailer and HK listed consumer product
company. As CEO of China business of a U.S. novelty product producer and retailer, Ms. Gao setup the company and
successfully introduced the business into China market.
• Previously, Ms. Gao worked for Siemens Management Consulting where she supported leadership to tackle various business
challenges in China, Germany and Southeast Asia.
• Ms. Gao started her business career with Kimberly-Clark in U.S., where she acted as Brand Marketing Manager for VIVA &
SCOTT paper towels.
• Ms. Gao earned her MBA degree from University of Michigan, and Bachelor and Master degrees in Electrical Engineering

Malin is the GM of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China with offices across n Beijing and Shanghai.

She relocated to Shanghai in 2023, bringing with her a distinguished career in global management and strategy. Before moving to China, Malin was based in Sweden, where she gained extensive experience in consultancy and served as the manager of the International Trade Department at the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

Malin has spent many years living and working abroad, including assignments with Ericsson in Japan and the UK, where she specialized in business development, sales, and change management. Additionally, she worked with the Swedish Trade and Investment Council in Dubai, supporting Swedish companies in establishing and expanding their presence in the Middle East.

Her primary focus is to strengthen the relationship between the Chinese and Swedish communities, broaden collaboration opportunities, and maximize value for members and partners. She is committed to enhancing the return on investment (ROI) for all events and activities, ensuring they deliver meaningful impact and foster stronger connections.

Born in China, Amanda Liu has lived the past 30 years in Sweden, building a successful career in the IT industry and at Scania.

As a female leader, she is deeply passionate about talent development and has guided many individuals in their careers.
