New Year and a fresh start for SwedCham Young Professionals!

The 2022 YP Committee welcomes you for a cozy evening, immersing in Swedish culture and snacks at Oatly's brand new lounge! We will watch the movie "Becoming Astrid" (Unga Astrid in Swedish), about the life of world renowned writer Astrid Lindgren (阿斯特丽德·林格伦). The movie will be shown in Swedish with English subtitles.

About the Movie

Astrid Lindgren is shown growing up in the countryside near Vimmerby Sweden on their farm, from age 16 up: going to church, attending dances, helping on the farm. She is offered an internship with the local newspaper but end up having an affair with the newspaper editor. When she becomes pregnant, he sends her to Stockholm for secretarial school. She decides to save him the trouble of divorce and re-marriage and gives birth in Denmark. Her family has a hard time respecting her actions and they have a fallout.

Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than one business day prior to the event. If you fail to notify us of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will be charged for the event costs.

Fapiao (VAT Invoice)

Apply fapiao when purchasing a ticket, by inputting the Chinese entity name and tax ID (if the title is wrong, you will be unable to receive the Fapaio). Make sure your IT has whitelisted the domain "XX@hlzrkj.xyz​. E-Fapiao will be sent to your e-mail within 7 days after completed event (check spam folder). If the fapiao can not be received, please provide an alternative email or contact Jonatan@swedcham.cn.
