Everybody knows that Sichuan and Chengdu is home to the Giant Panda, but did you know that it's also home to Volvo Cars' first ever Brand Experience Center? Since its opening in 2013, visitors have here been able to experience Volvo's core values and the uniqueness of each car. With a focus on design, safety, environment and connectivity; Volvo manages to stay ahead even long after their 90th birthday. Main organized by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China and co-hosted by AmCham China - Southwest China, we invite our members to join us and visit Volvo Cars together in Chengdu.

The center and its neighboring production plant is located in the Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone, southeast of the Chengdu city center, on a plot area of 500,000 square meters. The annual production capacity of the plant is 120,000 cars, corresponding to a line speed of 30 cars per hour.

Volvo Cars have a long and rich history of designing and engineering its cars around people, which sets them apart in the auto industry. Join us in Chengdu to discover the evolution of Volvo, and how they will lead the way to a new era of sustainable mobility, connected services and self-driving cars.

Please note that trains/flights to Chengdu, accommodation and transportation needs to be arranged by the guests.

Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend a factory tour for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than seven(7) business days prior to the event. If you fail to notify us of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will be charged for the event costs.

Fapiao (VAT Invoice)

Ask your IT to whitelist the domain "XX@hlzrkj.xyz​". Apply fapiao when purchasing a ticket, by inputting the Chinese entity name and tax ID (if the title is wrong, you will be unable to receive the Fapaio). E-Fapiao will be sent to your e-mail within 7 days after completed event (check spam folder). If the fapiao can not be received, please provide an alternative email.
