SwedCham China is proud to invite you to a first ever company tour in Western China! Our Chengdu visit will span over two days and we will visit Volvo Cars, Pan Pan and the panda with the same name. You can choose to attend both days or one of the days (Please see information below).

SwedCham Southwest China tour continues with a visit to Assa Abloy-owned Pan Pan Doors, China's largest high security steel door manufacturer.

Pan Pan was established in 1982 and is headquartered in Yingkou, north of Beijing. The company manufactures in six locations in China and has more than 4,000 employees. Pan Pan has an annual capacity to produce 2.4 million high security doors in the form of fire, anti theft, armored, corrosion proof and standard high security doors as well as security windows, automatic garage doors, radiators, steel structures, sound-insulated screens, stainless steel kitchen utensils and much more.

Interestingly enough, Pan Pan Doors has also adopted a giant panda with the same name. Pan Pan the Giant Panda was officially adopted in March 2021, and has since been a loyal member of the Assa Abloy Group. Giant panda conservation, caring for animals and protecting the environment are not only core projects but core responsibilities for Pan Pan Doors, and we at SwedCham China are honored to be a part of the journey.

Please note that trains/flights to Chengdu, accommodation and transportation needs to be arranged by the guests, unless clearly stated otherwise.

More details regarding the factory tour such as recommendations for accommodation, meeting points, addresses, health code details, etc will be sent to attendees in advance of the event.

Agenda, Chengdu Tour Day 2

• 9:15 Arrival & Check in at Panpan Doors
• 9:30 Presentation
• 10:00 Showroom visit
• 10:30 Factory Tour
• 11:30 Lunch
• 12:30 Transport to Giant Panda Breeding Center
• 13:30 Panda Center visit for the rest of the afternoon (tickets to be bought on site)
