The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China is thrilled to invite you for an authentic and Swedish family-style Christmas dinner at the Nordic Bakery Bistro 北欧饼铺餐厅 on 12 December, 2025 in Beijing.

Nordic Bakery Bistro is inspired by Swedish Fika - sharing warmth and flavor from the Nordics. Founded by Felicia, who learned her craft from her grandparents. Every handcrafted treat carries love and authenticity - whether you're savoring a quiet moment alone or sharing Fika with loved ones.

The evening will recreate the cherished Christmas tradition of a Swedish home during the holidays. This is more than a party - it's a celebration of love, sharing and togetherness in the true Swedish spirit.

A Glimpse into a Swedish Family Christmas



In Sweden, the heart of Christmas beats strongest on Christmas Eve, a time for family, reflection, and beloved traditions. We will bring this authentic atmosphere to Beijing, guiding you through the very rituals that define a Swedish Jul:

• Santa Lucia Choir: A singing performance of Sweden's festival of light. Santa Lucia Choir is composed of the Swedish business community volunteers. This cherished tradition, filled with song and light, symbolizes hope and togetherness, perfectly setting the tone for our night of shared warmth.
• Traditional Christmas Buffet Dinner (Julbord): Gather around our Traditional Swedish Christmas Buffet, a centerpiece of Swedish celebration. Share stories and laughter over two hours of free-flowing drinks and classic dishes like Glögg (mulled wine), Swedish Herring, Smoked salmon,Toast Skagen, saffron buns, and gingerbread cookies etc. This is the Swedish art of mys - the cozy joy of good food and great company.
• The Heart of Sharing: Secret Santa (Julklappar): Embrace the spirit of love and creative giving. We welcome you to bring a small gift (around 20-30 RMB or a meaningful second-hand item) for our Santa Gift Exchange. In true Swedish fashion, this is a fun and personal way to share a piece of yourself with a new friend.
• After-party with discounted cash bar: A separate registration is available. After party starts from 21:30 to 23:00.

Cancellation Policy

If you cannot attend a traditional event for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than three (3) days prior to the event. If you fail to notify us of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will be charged for the event costs.

Fapiao (VAT Invoice)

Ask your IT to whitelist the domain "XX@hlzrkj.xyz​". Apply fapiao when purchasing a ticket, by inputting the Chinese entity name and tax ID (if the title is wrong, you will be unable to receive the Fapaio). E-Fapiao will be sent to your e-mail within 7 days after completed event (check spam folder). If the fapiao can not be received, please provide an alternative email.
