While China is rapidly developing its hydrogen energy sector with a focus on green hydrogen production and application in the transportation sector, Sweden is a leader in green hydrogen production, particularly in the industrial sector. It is actively using hydrogen as a key decarbonization pathway in steel production. The EU, with its comprehensive policies and ambitious targets, aims to lead the global hydrogen market by scaling up production and integrating hydrogen into multiple sectors. Each region has unique strengths and goals, but all are committed to leveraging hydrogen as a key solution for sustainable development.

At this seminar, organised by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, we will discuss Policy, Innovation and Collaboration in the Hydrogen industry.

We will hear from Swedish and Chinese companies: ABB, SSAB (Swedish Steel), Alleima, Wallenius, Volvo and JD sharing their strategies and best practices in hydrogen technology Policy support, R&D, industrial applications. More information of speakers will be updated later.

We look forward to a seminar of interactive discussions and the sharing of expertise to together accelerate the Key Pathway to Carbon Neutrality.

The seminar will have simultaneous interpretation in English and Chinese.

The event will be co-hosted by SwedCham China and the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing.
