The Ambassador of Sweden, H.E. Mr. Per Augustsson, has the honour of inviting Members of the Swedish Chamber to a breakfast meeting, at which the Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden and Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China will officially launch and present the results from the report of " Business Climate Survey for Swedish companies in China 2026" . The breakfast seminar will take place at the Swedish Ambassador's residence in Beijing, 3, Dongzhimenwai Dajie, on Thursday, the 28th of May 2026, at 08:30 hrs.

Background

The Business Climate Survey for Swedish companies in China has been carried out by Team Sweden in China (including the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing, the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai, Business Sweden, and SwedCham China) since 2000. This year's report is based on responses from 100 companies across sectors, and provides insights into the business climate, performance, and expected outlook for Swedish companies operating in China.



Launched for the first time in 2000 by the Chamber of Commerce, the Business Climate Survey has since grown into an integrated Team Sweden initiative, conducted among Swedish company representatives in China. The survey aims to gauge business sentiment as well as challenges and opportunities in the market, playing an important informative role in Team Sweden's work to support Swedish businesses in China.
