While China is rapidly developing its hydrogen energy sector with a focus on green hydrogen production and application in the transportation sector, Sweden is a leader in green hydrogen production, particularly in the industrial sector. It is actively using hydrogen as a key decarbonization pathway in steel production. The EU, with its comprehensive policies and ambitious targets, aims to lead the global hydrogen market by scaling up production and integrating hydrogen into multiple sectors. Each region has unique strengths and goals, but all are committed to leveraging hydrogen as a key solution for sustainable development.
The morning seminar features the speakers and experts from Tsinghua University, JD Logistic, ChinaSAE and Hydrogen Energy Professional Committee who will discuss their insights on policy support, safety, industrial applications in hydrogen technology. More speakers will be added later.
We look forward to a seminar filled with interactive discussions and the sharing of expertise to together accelerate the Key Pathway to Carbon Neutrality.
The event will be co-hosted by SwedCham China and the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing.
The seminar will have simultaneous interpretation in English and Chinese.

The coal to methanol production line conversion to Biomethanol project, which she presided over and completed, obtained the International Sustainable and Carbon Certification (ISCC EU) on July 11, 2023. This is the first project of China's Biomethanol production line to obtain EU certification, and
also the largest single unit bio methanol production capacity project in the world at present. Currently, Director Guo Qi is conducting research on the sustainable product value chain.
