Magnus Ahlqvist joined Securitas in August 2015 as Divisional President Securitas Services Europe. On March 1, 2018, he assumed the position as President and CEO of Securitas AB, and continued to hold the position as Divisional President Securitas Services Europe until March 2019.
Prior to joining Securitas, he has held various management positions in the telecommunications industry. Magnus has served as Corporate Vice President, EMEA & India after joining Google-owned Motorola Mobility. Before, he worked 12 years for Sony and Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications as President for Greater China, General Manager Spain & Portugal and General Manager Canada.
Magnus Ahlqvist holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics, and a leadership exam from Harvard Business School.
He is the Chair of the International Security Ligue.
Pamela Qiu
Partner & Head of South East Asia at Control Risks
Ms Pamela Qiu is a Partner and leads the South-East Asia business at Control Risks. She is also Head of its Singapore office, which is Control Risks’ Asia Pacific regional headquarters.
Ms Qiu is responsible for the development of the business in South East Asia, managing key client relationships and partnerships, and advising senior business leaders on areas of risk that impact their operations. She has over 15 years of experience working in public policy, consulting and professional services.
Before joining Control Risks, Ms Qiu was Head of Business Development at the Alliance to End Plastic Waste, a global non-profit organisation that engages with major stakeholders across the plastic value chain to drive systems change in the management of plastic. In her role, she developed the business strategy to significantly increase private sector investment commitments into he Alliance.
Prior to that, Ms Qiu was Network Director at The Economist Group, where she led its CEO insight and intelligence service in South-East Asia, and drove its thought leadership agenda and client engagement programme in the region. She was also a frequent chair for Economist events and roundtables, and regularly delivered custom briefings to senior business executives.
