Chinese Company Law will undergo revisions starting July 1, 2024, introducing significant and fundamental changes, including the addition or modification of 228 articles and the deletion of 16 articles. This seminar outlines the amendments that foreign investors should carefully consider.
On December 29, 2023, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China officially endorsed a draft of the Revised Company Law, marking the second comprehensive revision since the enactment of the initial Chinese Company Law in 1993. These revisions encompass various aspects.

Sherry specialises in M&A, foreign direct investment, outbound investment, and general corporate. She has represented numerous international clients in various M&A and foreign direct investment deals, including providing legal services, participation of key deal decision making, negotiation, draft and implementation of transaction documentations.
Sherry is also part of compliance team in Wikborg Rein's Shanghai office and focuses on the corporate governance from a company’s growth stage.
