The new Ambassador of Sweden to China, H.E. Mr. Per Augustsson, has the honour of inviting member companies of the Swedish Chamber to a CEO Breakfast in cooperation with SwedCham China. This event will take place in the Ambassador's residence in Beijing on 6 September 2023.
Ambassador Augustsson will share insights and perspectives on the bilateral relations and trade between Sweden and China. The CEO Breakfast will provide a unique platform for business leaders to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, and foster connections. This intimate gathering will enable you to interact directly with Ambassador Augustsson, share your views and ask questions, and gain firsthand knowledge about the current business landscape in China.
Per Augustsson is Ambassador of Sweden to China since 15 August 2023. He has worked as a diplomat for the Swedish Government and Foreign Ministry since 1992 in various positions, including at the Government Offices in Stockholm, at the Permanent Mission of Sweden to the United Nations in New York and as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Sweden in London and the Embassy of Sweden in Beijing. Prior to his current posting he was Consul General of Sweden in Hong Kong and Macau. He also spent four years in Washington D.C. as Senior Fellow and Diplomat-in-Residence at the Center for Transatlantic Relations at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
Per Augustsson has a Degree of Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Lund (Sweden) 1991. He studied at the Jean Moulin University in Lyon (France) in 1990 and was a Robert Schuman Scholarship Trainee at the European Parliament (Luxemburg) in 1991.
