As an international management consultant Klas Mellander has specialized in creating effective learning tools for engaging people and making change happen.
As Celemi's co-founder and Chief learning consultant, he mainly focuses on the development of innovative client solutions and new products.
He is a pioneer in the field, having worked with a wide range of global clients for more than 50 years.
When Mr. Mellander published a book about his method, The Power of Learning: Fostering Employee Growth (Irwin Publishing, 1993), he was hailed a guru in training circles. The book was a main selection for the American Society of Training & Development’s Executive Program.
The Power of Learning is also a method for designing effective learning processes. The method is based on the conditions for learning rather than the principles of teaching.
Mr. Mellander is the author or co-author of over 30 books and has developed several digital learning programs – including advanced business simulations for companies like IBM, Ericsson, Schneider Electric, IKEA and Siemens.
He is the creative engineer behind best-selling business simulations such as Celemi Decision Base™, Tango™, Apples & Oranges™ and Celemi Enterprise™ – to date experienced by more than 4 million participants in all parts of the world.
Klas Mellander have also been engaged as a pro bono consultant by “Star for Life” – an NGO with the main aim to slow the spread of HIV and AIDS among students in Southern Africa.
