The Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China are arranging a Newcomers' Gathering to welcome new families, colleagues and friends and to help them make connections in the new environment. If you or your colleagues have friends who recently moved to Shanghai, please welcome them to join the gathering.
The idea is to provide a first framework for newcomers to meet with others, ask questions, learn a few things about the life in China, and gather information about Swedish organizations in Shanghai. You will also get the chance to meet representatives from different parts of the Swedish Community, and perhaps more importantly, meet all the other newcomers.

Among the representatives we have Consul General of Sweden in Shanghai Lisette Lindahl, Martin Vercouter from Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, Andrea Staxberg from Business Sweden, Per Linden from Swedes Worldwide, Alexandra Kohring from Svenska Skolan, Anneli Lundh and Mette Lindqvist from Swedish Club, Sofia Norén from Swedish Young Professionals and representatives from the Swedish Church.
