Joakim is heading up Business Sweden’s activities in the East Asia and Pacific region, with the aim of helping Swedish companies to grow global sales and international companies to invest and expand in Sweden He leads an organisation of 80 people across eight offices in the region
Joakim has a background as Management Consultant, and has previously been leading the Strategy practice of a Big Four in the Nordics as well as been part of the firm’s global Customer Operations team. In addition to advisory roles, Joakim has worked as a line manager within transport and logistics, with nine years in the A P Møller Mærsk Group across a number of commercial and operational roles. Throughout his career Joakim has lived and worked in Asia for more than
ten years Joakim holds a Master of Science in Industrial Management and Engineering, is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and has a Global Executive MBA with INSEAD

Johan Chun has been the country manager of Business Sweden, Korea since August 2012.
With over 20+ years of professional experience from management positions in the private industry with extensive experience in Business development and business strategy. He has spent the majority ofhis professional career in Sweden and Korea, butalso has international experience from working the UK and France. Currently he is a board member in the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Korea.
Asia-Pacific Regional lead Invest promotion and Consumer goods industry at Business Sweden.
Before joining Business Sweden, the Swedish trade and Invest council, he worked in the start-up ecosystem in Sweden. Prior to that he served as Business developer for ICA Group, one of the largest retail groups in the Nordics and as Operations manager for DHL global forwarding. He has a background in management consulting from Ernst & Young management consulting.

Martin is the head of Business Sweden's advisory services and a member of Business Sweden's Asia Pacific leadership team. Over the past two decades, Martin has assisted multinational corporations in achieving organic and inorganic growth. He is an experienced advisor in the field of international business development, focusing on growth strategies, M&A, and transformational programs across a wide variety of industries.

Before joining Business Sweden, Martin spent 9 years at Accenture Strategy. He holds an M.Sc. in Business Administration from Handelshögskolan in Gothenburg

Carsten Grönblad is since 2019 The Swedish Trade Commissioner to Japan, working closely with Swedish and Japanese companies to succeed with their business development and strategic co-operations. He has previously been heading the operations in India, ACH central European HUB – (Austria, Hungary, Switzerland, Croatia and Israel), there he and the teams have pioneered the launch of several innovation- and industry platforms.

Johan Thurée is Market Manager for Hong Kong at Business Sweden, responsible for supporting Swedish companies grow their business in Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area. Prior to his role in Hong Kong, Johan worked at Business Sweden in Beijing for 3+ years, supporting Swedish companies in their international expansion across a wide range of sectors in Mainland China and in Asia at large. Before joining Business Sweden, Johan worked as a strategy consultant in Sweden and has also lived and studied in Mainland China on two separate occasions.

Martin Vercouter is Market Manager in Taipei since 2023. Prior to Business Sweden, Martin was responsible for growth and operations at the Swedish fintech startup Treyd. He has previously served as General Manager for the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China
